Breaking: APC National Leader, Tinubu Loses Son, Jide

Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu has lost his son, Jide Tinubu.
The manner in which Jide Tinubu, first son of the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Ahmed Tinubu, died has been revealed.

According to a member of the Tinubu family, who asked not to be named because of the sensitive nature of the matter, Jide suddenly collapsed and died from what was suspected to be a heart attack around 9 pm on Tuesday.

“However, after the incidence, close family members rushed him down to hospital on Lagos Island where he was confirmed dead on arrival,” the source told journalists in Lagos

He added that the tragic news was kept secret because the father, Bola Tinubu, was in Abuja for the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of his party, the APC.

Chairman of APC in Lagos, Otunba Henry Ajomale confirmed Jide’s death in a short statement he (Ajomale) issued on Wednesday.

“It’s with regrets that I inform you of the demise of Mr. Jide Tinubu, the Son of Our dear and esteemed Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” the statement said.

Late Jide was a law graduate of the University of Liverpool, England. He obtained a Masters degree in Maritime Law from the University of London and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1999.

The late lawyer had served as Promoter of TSL Limited and also worked in the Legal Department of Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited from January 2000 to September 2001.

Prior to this, he had brief stints with Cargo Maritime in Paris, France, a firm of shipbrokers that specialized in petroleum product tankers, and Ocean and Oil Services Ltd.

Ozubulu Killings: Police Unmask Masterminds

St Philips Catholic Church, Ozubulu, Anambra where a lone gunman killed 13 worshippers
The Commissioner of Police in Anambra, Mr Garba Umar, on Wednesday unmasked two suspects behind the invasion and killing of 18 worshipers at St. Philip Catholic Church, Ozubulu.

The suspects are: Prince Charles Obi a.k.a Gozila and Dickson Nwodi.

Umar disclosed this during a press briefing at Amawbia near Awka, and added that the duo, based in South Africa, are serving murder sentences in South African prison.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that 18 persons were killed by gunmen while 10 others were injured while they were attending early morning Sunday mass at the Church on Aug.6.

He said Obi and Nwodi who hailed from Nnobi and Oba communities of Anambra, had mandated one Quintus Anayo, also based in South Africa, to inform Ozubulu elders that they were behind the invasion.

The commissioner said that the account on Anayo was in line with the investigation of police into the matter.

He said that already police had established contact with Interpol on the need to extradite the suspects from South Africa to Nigeria.

He said that police in the state were already intensifying arrangements to arraign the three suspects earlier arrested in connection with the killings within the week.

Umar thanked the public for the information to which he attributed the successes already recorded by police in the investigations.

NAN reports that police and the State Government had blamed the invasion and killings on drug war.

CRIME BURST: Policeman Kidnaps, rapes 14 year old for 6 days in Anambra....

A rogue police officer has landed in hot soup after being accused of Kidnapping and raping a 14-year-old girl in Anambra state.
PoliticsNGR gathered that the mobile police officer(MOPOL) identified as Barau Garba allegedly raped the little girl till her privates ruptured. Below is a full report on the case written by Journalist, Hassan Haruna Dambatta;
“Maryam Yusuf was just 14years old, an indigene of Kano state living with her parents in Asaba, Delta state. She does attend Islamic school in cable area known as Hausa quarters in Asaba, Delta state.

Maryam was sent by her father to Onitsha form Asaba on 14th of October 2017 to buy round cotton but unlucky for her she lost the money while on transit. During her efforts to identify the vehicle she boarded, while standing by the roadside, she was approached by one corporal Barau Garba (mopol) with service number 275601 from MOPOL 7 Sokoto state who was on a special duty in Anambra, his team were attached with OKPOKO police divisional headquarters, Onitsha.

The rouge police corporal approached the teenage girl asking her of what happened, as the small girl explained to him how she lost her money on transit and her need to go back home, the policeman Barau Garba deceived her by asking her to join him on his motorcycle so that he can take her back home.

Instead of taking the teenage girl back home to her parents safely, this Nigerian police corporal decided to abduct her and took her to a temporary police base and locked her up in his room and maliciously raped her for six (6) good days. This policeman raped this teenage girl until her v*gina raptured.

For these six agonizing days, innocent Maryam was begging him to take her home but he refused. His Waterloo reached its peak when on the 5th day, in the middle of the night the innocent Maryam took his mobile phone and called her father to come to her rescue.

Maryam was taken to hospital on 25th October 2017 (yesterday) by a good samaritan because the police in accord with the DPO of OKPOKO division are not forthcoming with her case. They want to cover up the case, especially as they told the father that the issue have to be forgiven since ‘they’ both the rouge police corporal Barau Garba and them are all of northern origin.

where innocent Maryam was taken and various tests were conducted, and it was ascertained she was raped beyond human imagination and left with a ruptured v*gina.”

Reverend Sister raped, Killed and Dumped into a Dam .

Plaxedes Kamundiya, a Zimbabwean reverend sister, met her demise at a prayer shrine in Mutoko, after a man allegedly pounced on her, raped and killed her, Zimnews reports.

The deceased was an official at St Georges High School. Her body was found floating in a dam after days of searching for her. It was learnt that Kamundiya visited the Mtoko Mother of Peace Community in an assessment tour in connection with a visit by mass server students from St Georges High School in Harare.

After interacting with the orphans and concluding her business for the day, the deceased decided to take a brief pilgrimage to the Glorious Cross of life which is a prayer shrine.

She was escorted by a female community member to the area whom she told she needed a brief time to say her prayers in solitude. She took a siesta and then woke up later only to realize Plaxedes’ car was still parked at the same spot where she had left her.

She raised the alarm that the deceased had told her she was going for a brief prayer. After asking several people if they had seen Sister Plaxedes, the now visibly panicky woman decided to send a search party after her at the blue cross shrine.

During the search, the party met a man who said he saw Plaxedes a while ago acting like a mad person. Not convinced by the man’s statement, the search group decided to search through his belongings and found groceries which he claimed belonged to his sister.

These groceries were the first link to Sister Plaxedes’s disappearance. The deceased’s body was later found floating on Mutemwa dam. Her body showed signs of struggle including bruises, blisters and bleeding from the nose.

The man confessed to killing Plaxedes after which he hid her bloody clothes in a sack at Chido Mudzinyama Farm. He also confessed to dragging her body and tossing it in the dam in a bid to concealing the evidence. The accused had since been handed over to the police.

Nigerian buys G-Wagon for South African to apologise for impregnating his wife

A Nigerian man simply identified as John bought a Mercedes- Benz G - class for a South African man to apologise after impregnating his wife .

Daily Live , a South - African news website , quoted John as saying that the husband of his pregnant girlfriend immediately forgave him on receiving the car .

“ I know what I did is wrong but I feel better he has accepted my gift . He accepted that his wife , my girlfriend , is pregnant and will soon give birth to my son .

He was angry at first but when I presented the car to him his anger vanished ,” John explained .

Another South African woman close to the family of the pregnant wife could not hold back her disappointment and anger toward the man as she claimed that Nigerian men would never take South - African men seriously after hearing this .

She said , “ Nigerian men will never take our men seriously. What kind of a man accepts a gift from a man who impregnated his wife ? He will impregnate her again and buy the stupid husband another car . I am so disappointed .”

When contacted , the husband who didn ’t want to be named said , “ it is wrong to say I am stupid . The point of the matter is we cannot reverse what happened . We sat down as men and sorted the issue . The Bible says we must forgive and forget. I have always dreamed of driving a G -wagon. Christmas came early for me and my family .

“ The baby will be born and I ’ll take care of him as my own . If the father wants to take him to Nigeria I wouldn’t mind. I will give my wife the support she needs always .

“ That is what marriage is all about . I love my wife and will not leave her because of a mere pregnancy .”

DANIEL MADUEKE NWAFOR BURIES DAD IN GRAND STYLEo

It was on Wednesday 19th of April, 2017 that the burial of his dad whom he described as an exceptional courageous man took place. Though it was a mere burial ceremony but in the other way round a gathering of who is who in Imo state political circle. 

Any prominent personality in the state who did not attend the burial was not in the country or could be that the news got to him late.

Despite the low publicity of the date of the burial which was deliberately done to minimize crowd, still both at the church premises where the funeral service was conducted and the family compound were filled with sea of people from all walks of life.

The major reason according to our source who witnessed the burial event was that the young man Hon Daniel Nwafor apart from being an influential son of the soil his community  Umuokwurudu Umuokparafor Umunoha in Mbaitolu LGA of Imo state, he is also a personal aide to the Chief of staff government house Owerri Ugwumba Uche Nwosu whom he described as his mentor, his everything and one person he can never take for granted in his entire life.

 It was during the vote of thanks by Mr Daniel who spoke on behalf of the entire family of Nwafor that many people observed that the man Daniel is truly as humble as his boss Ugwumba who does not allow position and the glory of his office to get into his brain. 

Some who were interviewed by our representative disclosed that the young man does not even make noise and that he is hardly noticed in public function even when he is part and parcel of the major sponsors of such occasions. 

According to them, humility and simplicity are the two keys why Mr Daniel Madueke Nwafor is excelling and in keeping his family together. The mass turnout of his colleagues in the office of the chief of staff and the almost look-alike royal burial uniform which our source disclosed was even given to them free and their solidarity is just story for another day.

‘’My dad Chief Dr Martin Azunna Nwafor lived a well rounded and fulfilled life as a Christian, a family man and a community leader. I will miss him a lot especially his courageous lifestyle. 



As a father he did everything for us that a caring dad would do for his family’’ When he was asked to emphatically state how he would describe his dad’s life on earth? ‘’He tearfully said that he was an exceptional father and one that he would live to immortalize.
