As a man who human empowerment could be adopted as his second name,the chief of staff to the Executive Governor of Imo State  ugwumba uche Nwosu has continued to push with great zeal and vigour towards the actualization of his promised empowerment of 1000 Imo youths before the end of 2017
.

This time in continuation of the drive towards the actualization programme Nwosu has  empowered  50  imo youths  through a programme tagged UGWUMBA UCHE NWOSU IT  STUDENTS SKILLS ACQUISITION  AND EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMME..

Speaking while handing certificates of participation to those who graduated from the programme and equipments to best graduating candidates of the programme from different divisions/departments .Nwosu congratulated all the participants for completing the  training programme and the best graduating ones for coming out tops from their different division .

NWOSU used the opportunity to inform  that the training programme which has,make up ,Hair dressing,wielding,tailoring division would be a continuous process adding that those who did not benefit during this batch would benefit from the second batch which will come up in about next two weeks  (Ist week of  next month April)
He noted that the empowerment programme was part of the fulfilment of his promise to meanifully empower over  1000 imo youths before the end of 2017 which  he has  already commenced  on  empowering some youths from the National association of Imo State students (NUISSS) and the disabled association of Nigeria ,Imo State branch.
He advised the graduants to make the best of the knowledge they gained from the training adding that they have the opportunity and capacity to grow very from their different chosen areas of specialization and become the best in those areas in the State,nationally and internationally.

The Erudite chief of staff gave example of those who started from a very small and humble begining and later grew to become world Celebrities to include ; Billgates, a notable designer Jeff Lubel,owner of the True Religiion designers notable for Denims,Jean Designs ,Likes of Owelle Rochas okorocha who he said started dealing on second hand clothing right from his secondary school days.

He used other soul lifting and motivating illustrations to educate,sensitize and encourage them on the need to take the knowledge they garnered from the training serious and work hard towards implementing them to better their lots ,that of their families and the society  in general,as it will enable them to be self employed as well as become employers of Labour.

According to him"Any person who wish to be a person to be reckoned with in the society must have a first name  a productive
 venture through which him or her contributes to the empowerment of his society and touch lives of those around him.
"MY first name used to be  Real estate ,but now I have diversified into farming. I have a large farm through which I make four to five million (N4 to N5 million) monthly"Nwosu illustrated.

He dolled out N20,000 each to all the participants while noting that those who did not emerge as the best  will   have chance to benefit from the next batches  Since the programme was  continuous.

The first batch of those who emerged best from their different divisions and  got the equipments to start up included;Iwu chioma,and Udeagha Julieth from the make up division,okezie Amarachi and osumuche Blessing,Hair dressing division,Emmanuel iroegbulam and Chika Chinedu,weilding division,Okafor Ugonma and Aluka Amarachi,Tailoring Division.

Highpoint of the occasion was the handing over of the equipments to the beneficiaries who said their joy know no bounds and
prayed God to continue to empower,sustain and motivate the Chief of Staff to continue in his good works and also lead  him to greater heights ...
