Nkwerre Leadership Foundation pledges unflinching support to Uche Nwosu

The apex Socio-Political class in Nkwerre LGA under the aegis of Nkwerre Leadership Foundation has once again reitirated its total support and confidence on the person of Ugwumba Uche Nwosu.
The body made up of seasoned Technocrats, Political Leaders and Business Moguls ably led by the most distinguished President,Hon. (Sir) Jude Nkpado bared thier minds at the weekend during a solidarity Courtesy Visit to Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, the Candidate of Action Alliance in the March 9 lmo Guber election.
Presenting thier agenda for the visit, Engr Peter Ohagwa, the Special Adviser to the Governor of Imo State on Peace and Conflict resolution commended Ugwumba Uche Nwosu on his courage and Leadership prowess with respect to the March 9th Guber Election.
He went ahead to inform that the massive votes garnered by Action Alliance Party was because of his character content, urging him to keep up the good work.
Subsequently, the Chief of Staff to the Government of Imo State, Hon. Kenneth Ejiogu who moderated the session used the opportunity to thank the people of Imo State for the great and unimaginable confidence they have on Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, noting that the fact that he has not yet assumed office to be the Chief Servant Leader in the State is a matter of time and will soon come to pass by the grace of God.
Other Leaders who spoke were;Barr Paschal Onwukaike,
the immediate past Transition Committee Chairman of Nkwerre LGA, Hon. Obinna Okwara, the Nkwerre State Constituency House of Assembly member-elect, Barr Beatrice Onwuzurike,
a legal luminary of note,Hon. Bisike Chilaka,
APC State Deputy Chairman, Hon. Dr Paully Emeka Ojukwu,the Nkwerre LGA APC Chairman and Hon. Chika Madumere, the incumbent House of Assembly member, Nkwerre State Constituency.
They described Ugwumba Uche Nwosu as a blessing to Imo State and the Society at large, calling on all and sundry especially the youths to keep the Hope alive as what is experienced now is just a temporary situation that will soon fizzle out.
The President of the Association, Hon. Jude Nkpado also noted that the foundation has already mapped out resources more than enough to ensure that the stolen mandate is reclaimed.
According to him, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu won the election and met all the requirements and conditions as stipulated by law and should be declared winner.
In his words, "Imolites came out en masse and voted Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, the Action Alliance Candidate. The decision of Imolites who spoke through the ballot papers should be respected and not sacrificed on the alter of sentiment. Election is a contest that has a procedure. Anything short of that is illegal and should not be allowed to stand".
Continuing, "we are ready and will stand with Ugwumba Uche Nwosu alongside Imolites to ensure that the illegality is not allowed to ruin the future of the State", he added.
Responding, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu thanked them for the visit while assuring them that God is still in charge of the matter.
He commended them on the efforts so far to keep encouraging him, noting that the kinsmen like them are his strenght.
Chief Nwosu further informed them that the matter is already in the Tribunal. He expressed confidence that the Judiciary which is the last hope of the common man will do justice to the matter as evidence abound including the Constitution of Federal Republic of Nigeria, Section 179(2,3,4).
He charged them to remain focused and stop blame game."What we need now is to remain focused, calculative and proactive. Blames should be put behind, rather where we had mistakes, we improve on them", he added.
"We should show capacity now no matter the inconveniences. Imolites are looking up on us and we can't afford to disappoint them but to be holistic and meticulous in pursuant of this justice", he opined.
Others present were,Hon Evang. Clifford Eze Pastor Betty Ijeuru Emenike Uzoma, Hon. Esther Ejiogu, Rt. Hon. Jude Osuala,Hon.Osita Nwadike and Hon Nwadike Chikezie.
