The Chief of Staff, Imo State Government House, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu was among the Imo State Team led by the Secretary to the Government of Imo State, SGI, Sir George Eche that on behalf of the Governor , Owelle Rochas Okorocha received the Honourable Minister for Health (State), Dr. Osagie Ehanire and his entourage.

The efforts of the Principal Officer to the Governor of Imo State on Environment, Hon. Jeff Nwoha and his Vigilant Team has been commended on no small amount by the Chief of Staff, Imo State Government House, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu.

This was made known to the press during the parading of Illegal Sand Miners arrested today by the ENTRACO TEAM led by the Acting MD, Hon. Jeff Nwoha.

According to Hon Nwoha, acting on a tip off, his vigilant Team swung into action and was able to burst a Team of professional illegal Sand Miners who operate along the bank of Otammiri River , arrested three of them while the rest are still at large.

EFCC re-arraigns NAMA MD, 3 directors, wife, others over N6.8B fraud

The Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) yesterday re-arraigned ex-Managing Director of the Nigeria Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), Ibrahim Abdulsalam and six other persons over alleged stealing and conversion’s of the agency money amounting to N6,850,447, 609.90.

The anti- graft commission had last week Thursday arraigned the NAMA boss, three directors of the agency and the wife of one of the directors.

‘Igbos and Hausa-Fulani herdsmen were murdered ’ in Abia — Okorocha

The Executive Governor of Imo State , Chief Rochas Okorocha  ​said​ that​ the ​killing of ​five “Hausa-Fulani” ​herdsmen ​in a forest along the border of the two states was done by “miscreants​”, and not targeted to any ethnic nationality as being speculated in some quaters.

The Governor said this having had a joint Security Council Meeting with his counterpart, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, the Executive Governor of Abia State.

We should be patient with Buhari–Nwosu, Imo Chief of Staff

A CHIEFTAIN of the All Progres­sives Congress (APC) in Imo State, Chief Uche Nwosu, has taken the critics of President Muhammadu Buhari to the cleaners.

Nwosu who is the Chief of Staff to the Imo State Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, disclosed that Buhari having met a lot of rot in the system when he assumed office as president is trying to lay a solid foundation upon which the country will stand firmly.

The APC stalwart who spoke with a select group of journalists in Owerri recently, therefore, appealed to Nigerians to be patient with the president who, he assured, would definitely take the country out of the woods. Excerpts:
