Until his death,
Nze Ignatius Umunna served as the Secretary to State Government of Imo State under Chief Achike Udenwa who was the Executive Governor of Imo State then.
Their administration lasted for 8 years. Nze Umunna popularly called "father father" was an influential Politician and PDP top notcher from Oru West LGA of Orlu Zone, Imo State.
His death which occurred early hours of Monday has not been made official by his family .
Nze Ignatius Umunna is a well known critic of the Rescue Government of Imo State under his Excellency, Owelle Rochas Okorocha. The Oru West born politician on one of the occasions liken the government of Imo State to a vampire accusing the Governor of grounding the economy of the State.
