ROFOSA IMO AWARD NIGHT... 2016 Edition

... Ugwumba Uche Nwosu installed as GRAND PATRON , ORDER OF ROFOSA, others received Award.

The Chief of Staff, Imo State Government House, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu has been installed as the Grand Patron , Order of ROFOSA (GPOR).



ROFOSA which stands for Rochas Foundation Old Students Association, as a way of appreciating individuals who have carved a niche in development and advancement of ROFOSA do mark out a day for the event.

The body after critical assessment unanimously adopted the person of Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, Chief of Staff, Imo State Government House to be installed as the GRAND PATRON, ORDER OF ROFOSA.

This exalted position of honour is an exclusive reserve accorded to deserving individuals who have shown great commitment and contributions towards the development of the free and quality education.

The 2016 Edition which took place at the Imo State International Convention Center had Personalities from different walks of life.

In the course of the program, some other good spirited individuals were also honored. Among them was Lolo Uloma Nwosu who emerged top after a poll was conducted and keenly contested in absentia for that category of award. Her award was also received by her beloved husband, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu.

Reacting , the Chief of Staff thanked the Organisers for the honor done to him. He thanked our Governor and the founder if Rochas foundation college for his ingenuity towards education, providing an opportunity for intellectual empowerment to the less privileged. Chief Uche Nwosu informed that the dream which was born 15 to 20 years ago has metamorphosised into a hub of transformation for the Society . According to him, Rochas foundation which operates on the principles of total humanitarian ground has produced thousands of professionals on the Society .

Chief Uche Nwosu charged the students both (Old and Current ) to always be good Ambassadors of  ROFOSA. That way, you will your daddy, Owelle Rochas Okorocha proud, he added.

Celebrated Artists including Phino Phyno and other top Comedians were there to keep the place alive and electrified toll the end of the program.

Other dignitaries that witnessed the occasion were Dcn Chike Okafor, Hon. Ik Ogbonna, Hon Henry Okafor, Commissioners, Special Advisers etc.
