EX NIGERIAN FIFA REF, CHUKWUJEKWU FOR UEFA REFEREEING PROGRAM


Seasoned referees instructor and retired international referee, Callistus Chukwudi Chukwujekwu, has been selected as the only referees teacher to lead three growing match arbiters from Anglophone part of Africa to the UEFA Centre of Refereeing Excellence, CORE, in Nyon, headquarters of the European football body.

 Details of the CORE courses indicate that Chukwujekwu, one of the famous referees the country has produced will lead three Ghanaian referees scheduled to hold Tuesday May 10-Thursday May 19, 2016 as Introductory Course, with a return leg known as Consolidation Course from October 20 Thursday October 27 2016.

The retired FIFA referee who took part in several CAF and FIFA instructors courses at international levels has been the chief teacher during seminars and functions organised by the NFF Referees Committee and NRA for education of match officials on the Laws of the Game and modern applications in refereeing. One of the notable Referees Assessors of the Premier League, Chukwujekwu is also of part of the CAF Referees Assessors' panel

While appreciating the capacity building program, the Tade Azeez led NRA congratulates Chukwujekwu for this deserved opportunity and wishes him  best of luck in the international venture
