Senator Hope Uzodinma in Fresh Trouble ...

PDP chieftains want Uzodinma suspended

OWERRI—Somet aggrieved chieftains of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Orlu, Imo State, have demanded the immediate suspension of Senator Hope Uzodinma from the party.

This came as another group lauded Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu and former Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives, Chief Emeka Ihedioha, for encouraging a democratic and peaceful congress in Owerri senatorial zone.

While Chief Ahamefule Dike and Jude Nnajiude, in a statement, accused Chief Uzodinma of “acts inimical to party progress during the last ward and local government congre-sses,” a socio-political group within the party, the Owerri League of Patriots, OLP, described Iwuanyanwu and Ihedioha as “true demo-crats who have shown the way for others to follow by allowing people to choose party leaders.”
