Nigerian militant group Niger Delta Avengers (NDA) says it has ended its ceasefire and will resume attacks in the oil-rich south.
"We can assure you that every oil installation in our region will feel the warmth of the wrath of the Niger Delta Avengers," the group said in a statement on its website.
The campaign would be 'brutish, brutal and bloody' with the aim of putting 'off the fires that burn to flair gas in our communities and [to] cut every pipe that moves crude away from our region'
A ceasefire came into force in 2016 following talks with the government.
Attacks on oil facilities in the Niger Delta in that year slashed oil production in Nigeria to its lowest level in at least 30 years, Reuters news agency reports.
