A Chieftain of All Progresieve Party, APC from Nkwerre LGA, Hon. Clifford Eze has called on the members of the above named Party especially in Nkwerre LGA to remain steadfast and stronger for the political war ahead.
He made this known when he hosted the Meeting of the Party Leadership in the LGA.
The meeting which took place in his county home ,Umunwokwe Eziama Obaire, Nkwerre LGA had the LGA Ward executives led by the LGA chairman, Dr Pauly Ojukwu, all Ward Chairmen of the Party and their various Executives in attendance.
Also in attendance were Ex Officios and other prominiet Leaders from the LGA.
Speaking to Media, the converner of the meeting informed that the gathering was to brainstorm on important issues and proffer way forward in championing the course of good governance.
The former Principal Officer to the governor on Rescue and Emergency boasted that APC Nkwerre LGA is now a pacesetter saying thus : "Indeed, we lead and others follow".
According to him, Nkwerre LGA has really felt the impact of Rescue Mission Government of Imo State and at such is grateful to the governor and the ruling Party, APC.
Among other things, the meeting discussed ways of strategizing for a peaceful grassroot reach out through Ward meetings and other avenues because according to him, Nkwerre LGA is already sealed for APC.
The meeting also commended the efforts of one of their own, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu who has contributed immesuarably in attracting or executing dividends of democracy in the area.
According to him, putting together all our Leader Ugwumba Uche Nwosu has done is very difficult because they are too many to mention. You know he is a man that does not blow his trumpet. He is a leader who does things because he can and not because of the praises, he added.
Ugwumba Uche Nwosu has also empowered so many Youths and he is still doing it. We will visit some of the empowered youths in their area of specialization to ascertain how far they are doing in terms of progress, he informed.
